About Symtrio

Symtrio Chiropractic and Sports Medicine Clinic was founded in 2012 by Dr. Brian Bodtker and is located in Orenco Station Town Center in Hillsboro, Oregon.  We offer treatment for a wide variety of conditions including:

  • Auto Accidents
  • Work Injuries
  • Sports Injuries
  • Post-surgical Rehabilitation
  • Sprain/Repetitive Strain Injuries
  • General aches and pains
  • Improving Strength/Conditioning/Flexibility

At Symtrio our treatment approach is comprised of 3 main objectives:

  1. Understand our patients, their past medical history, the mechanism of their current injury, and their goals for treatment
  2. Provide safe and effective therapy
  3. Equip our patients with the knowledge and skill set needed to allow them to participate actively in the healing process and prevent future occurrence of their injuries.

We provide care tailored specifically to each patient. That care will often contain elements of:

Manual Therapy: Gentle Chiropractic Manipulation to restore normal motion and joint positioning combined with soft tissue rehabilitation to restore range of motion and normal muscle tone.

Therapeutic Massage: To reduce pain and chronic muscle tension or acute muscle spasms

Modalities including electrotherapy, ultrasound, cold laser, heat, ice: to reduce pain, swelling, or increase blood flow and promote healing

Therapeutic Exercise: to improve strength and stability to injured areas and to reduce muscular imbalances

Diet, nutrition, vitamin, and supplement use:  to support the body during the healing process

Some patients may require only one or two treatment sessions to get back to health while others may require more. We are each unique in our ability to heal and no two injuries are exactly the same. We believe the more active the role our patients take in their care, the faster they respond and ultimately the fewer treatment sessions they usually require.

At Symtrio, we regard continued chiropractic care as an aid to maintaining optimal health but we do not believe in long-term treatment commitments, pre-paid service contracts, or forcing patients into unwanted care. What constitutes an ideal, ongoing treatment frequency is different for each of us. Some patients prefer to come in once every few weeks or months, once or twice per year, or only when they have hurt themselves or flared up an old injury. Where you fit into that spectrum is up to you.

We look forward to helping you meet your health goals and feel your very best!
